Open Door COVID-19 Update 5/27

New COVID-19 guidelines for Dane County effective May 26th will allow us to transition to more in-person services.  Our top priority continues to be the health and safety of our staff and clients.  We expect circumstances will remain fluid so we will do our best to adapt to new information around COVID-19.  Here are the guidelines that we will be operating under starting Tuesday, May 26th.

  • Telehealth will remain the preferred format for therapy and group sessions.

  • For any in-person services, prior to visiting the clinic, all staff and clients must review a symptoms checklist to self evaluate risk of carrying COVID-19.

  • While at our physical clinic locations, all staff and clients must wear a face mask.  We will be offering masks in the waiting areas.  If you don’t want to use a mask during therapy, we will continue to provide telehealth options.

  • When you arrive for your appointment, we ask you to wait in your car until your therapist texts or 5 minutes before the appointment time.

  • We will be practicing social distancing by maintaining 6 feet.

  • Please wash your hands regularly while at the clinic.  Evidence suggests washing 5x/day reduces all illness by 45%.

  • We will be regularly disinfecting high touch areas in order to minimize spread-by-surface.

Thank you for your efforts in helping our community stay safe.
