Gretchen Price

LPC-IT

Gretchen earned her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health from University of Wisconsin-Superior. Previous to becoming a counselor, Gretchen worked in elementary education for five years.

Gretchen’s therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). For younger clients, she incorporates Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), and she enjoys partnering with caregivers through psychoeducation to strengthen family relationships and help them to better understand and support their loved ones.

Gretchen’s hope is to provide a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where clients feel seen, heard, and accepted. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship serves as the foundation for meaningful growth and lasting change, and she strives to create an environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward their goals.
