
Andrew Powell
LCSW
Andrew is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides compassionate, client-centered
therapy to individuals and families across the lifespan. A Madison native, he believes meaningful
change begins with a trusting, collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel supported
and empowered to reach their goals.
Andrew earned his Master of Social Work from Walden University and has experience providing
psychotherapy in both residential and outpatient behavioral health settings. He has worked with
adults and families navigating substance use, trauma, mental health concerns, and life transitions.
Andrew recognizes that every person’s story is unique and works collaboratively with clients to
identify their strengths while developing practical tools for lasting growth.
Andrew utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed
care. His approach is tailored to each individual’s needs, helping clients build resilience, improve
emotional well-being, and create meaningful, lasting change.
