Amy Mosher-Garvey

Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with dual certification in mental health and substance use disorders. Amy has been with the clinic since 2003. She specializes in trauma, women’s issues, mood disorders and personality disorders. She brings a number of modalities to her work with individuals and families including Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and more. Amy is also a Substance Abuse Professional for the DOT and provides SAP services.
Amy’s background includes teaching at UW-Madison School of Social Work, chairing the Recovery Coalition of Dane County, advocating for the integration of behavioral health care into primary care settings, and developing quality improvement programs for healthcare entities. She enjoys fitness, the outdoors, reading, and her family.
